Laurel is a Senior Policy Analyst at EQ Research. Her areas of expertise include net metering, interconnection, community solar and market trends. Laurel also conducts research and analysis of energy regulatory and market trends for Keyes, Fox & Wiedman LLP (KFW) and supports the Firm’s outreach and communication efforts.
Prior to joining EQ and KFW, Laurel served as a Policy Analyst at the N.C. Solar Center at N.C. State University, where she coordinated the Interstate Renewable Energy Council’s Connecting to the Grid program. She also researched financial incentives and regulatory policies for the nationally recognized DSIRE project. Prior to joining the N.C. Solar Center, Laurel spent three years in West Africa as a small business development agent for the U.S. Peace Corps.
