Massachusetts’s Net Metering and Solar Task Force is currently seeking comments on the following issues:  (1) the costs and benefits of the state’s current net metering and solar incentive policies, as compared to other policies, including those of other states; (2) options for providing the support to reach the state’s 1,600 MW solar PV target and provide the opportunity for additional development; and (3) minimum bill programs, and the impact of such a program on the state’s 1,600 MW solar target. The deadline for submitting comments in January 6, 2015.

The Net Metering and Solar Task Force was established by legislation enacted in 2014.
