
Experience
Blake Elder is a Director at EQ Research. He has over eight years in the clean energy industry. His areas of expertise include grid modernization policies, BYOB storage program design, solar siting and permitting, interconnection, and California’s CCA policies, among others. Blake monitors compliance requirements for California CCAs and manages the analysis of state-level clean energy policies for EQ Research’s Policy Vista regulatory and legislative services.
Prior to joining EQ, Blake interned with the Training and Workforce Development Program at the North Carolina Clean Energy Technology Center at N.C. State University. In that role, he provided administrative assistance to the production of courses housed within the Renewable Energy Technologies Diploma Series. Blake also earned the certificate from that same program. Blake has a B.S. in Environmental Science for the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill where he Graduated with Distinction.
