The Department of Energy and Environmental Protection has issued an RFP for renewable and energy storage resources. Specifically, the DEEP is soliciting proposals for the following resources:

• Class I renewables greater than 2 MW and less than 20 MW.
• Class III energy sources greater than 2 MW and less than 20 MW.
• Passive demand response resources greater than 1 MW and less than 20 MW.
• Energy storage systems1 MW or larger.

Eligible energy storage projects may be located on the customer premises but must be metered separately from load. Projects may not be behind a customer’s revenue meter. Proposals are due May 16.
