The Board of Public Utilities (BPU) recently indicated that it is considering revising the Renewable Electric Storage Incentive program. Specifically, the BPU is considering raising project caps for the program, which currently offers an incentive of $3/kWh of energy capacity. This would allow the project maximum to rise from $300,000 to $500,000, while the entity cap would increase from $500,000 to $1 million.
