NJ: Under advancing bill, Energy Star homes preferred for PV incentives

Share

A bill requiring that any “financial incentives” provided by the Board of Public Utilities for residential solar PV systems give preference to Energy Star-qualified homes has passed New Jersey’s Senate and moved to the Assembly. It is not clear which financial incentives the bill refers to, although amendments adopted in September suggest that SRECs would fall within the scope of “incentives.”
