A. 1872 would extend an existing 15-year local option property tax exemption to energy-storage systems and equipment, beginning in 2017. The bill also wold extend the incentive to fuel cells, micro hydro systems and micro CHP systems. The incentive would be available for new systems installed prior to January 1, 2025.
